It Was Just One of Those Frightful Nights!

It was just one of those nights.

Just one of those terror-filled frights.

A Tall Man for sure…

lurked over my bed.

Oh my,

the fear!

Oh my,

the dread!

And so I lunged up in bed

threw a mean punch

at his head

and just

flew out of the bed!

Hit the stand!

Hit the floor!

Oh! Yes!

Who could ask for anything more!?

Monica Timbal says:

It is always a frightful sight when the Tall Man shows up at night! 😳😱🥶

    1. Tall Man was a loser from the start!

Generally, the taller you are the more weight you need to cut (simply because, you just weigh more). That means that you lose more muscle mass, compared to a shorter guy from the same category. So the shorter one generally has a more explosive punch during the fight.

Rocky Marciano, the only undefeated heavy weight champion of the world, was 5’11” with a fighting weight of 188 lbs!

  1. This is so fun! I love these lines. They paint a frightening picture, indeed. I also think more horror movies would be resolved much more quickly and easily if the protagonist just threw a mean punch at the villain’s head, haha. 😄

    1. Thanks. Yes, I think the horror movies are sometimes stupid beyond belief. A villain chases someone to kill them, they knock the villain to the ground and then just run away only to have the villain get up and than kill them in his own way.

If it were me, I’d finish the monster off once and for all! Where he lay!

      1. You’re very welcome! And yeah, as much as I love horror, it’s silly and completely nonsensical sometimes. There’s the trope you mentioned, which is very, very common. If they would just finish the villain off then, the problem would be solved. I also love when a villain casually walking along catches up to a victim running at top speed, haha. 😅
