More 50 Shades of Sexism!

Hopefully guaranteed to get under somebody’s PC craw!

This an actual photo of a Wader Bird and I just added sunglasses and a purse … just because it looked appropriate!

Wait a minute! It looks a bit like a Kardashian! But the butt isn’t big enough!

Waders are birds commonly found along shorelines and mudflats that wade in order to forage for food in the mud and sand. They are called shorebirds in North America, where the term “wader” is used to refer to long-legged wading birds such as storks and herons.

Enough of that, I fear!

Getting to the point:

I have been mildly chided for being sexist in my post, “50 Shades of Cat Liter!

Maybe it was the lines:

You see, I feel that woman pick men like they pick their cats.  It’s Fifty Shades of Cat Litter!

For men, it’s may be more basic and mostly instinctual: Five Shades of Doggy Bags and Chinese Take-Out!

Or maybe it was this particular line:

This is all becoming too confusing for me as a sexist old fool.

Or maybe it was the whole damn post itself!

My reply was:

Maybe sexist toward both sexes…

Maybe just humor and a play on a popular theme…

Maybe just maybe…people who label people sexist are maybe themselves sexist…

And the band played on

And the World continued to spin

And we all marched on

With *whatever* on our chin!

Cute Judy Lee says, “It’s good ebb and flow!”

Yes! As long as I didn’t step on somebody’s toe!

David Redpath has alerted me that…

The SCPC, Socialist Collective of the Politically Corrected, has stated that this post needs to be edited!

Well, SCPC spelled backwards is CPCS! And I cannot tell you what that means because it itself is very, very politically incorrect!

And remember that LOL spelled backwards is also LOL.

  1. Some people have no sense of humor, think every joke is some sort of slight. Being perpetually offended is epidemic in today’s society. Remember the old Rick Nelson song “Garden Party”, the lines “It’s alright now, I learned my lesson well, can’t please everyone, so I gotta please myself” or something like that? Words to live by.

  2. I love this, and besides, whether you are thought to be sexist or not, (not, in my honest opinion) you are not nor should you ever be responsible for the sensibilities of others. They need to be mindful for themselves, not your job to watch for them. 🙂 x
