Real and True Beauty

Nova Scotia, Canada, July 1971:

True beauty is not just in the eye of the beholder, but mainly in the Heart and Soul of the person you see!

Real beauty is inner beauty.

Even beautiful people feel insecure, especially if they know that their beauty comes only from luck or inheritance.

Real Beauty comes from the kind of person you are, the choices you make and how you treat other people … Beauty can be inherited, but Character is forged.

Cute Judy Lee became anorexic in the early 1950s. And it was not fully recognized as a treatable eating disorder. It wasn’t until Karen Carpenter, the famous American singer and drummer, plagued by the struggles and burdens of pop stardom, died on February 4, 1983. She succumbed to heart failure brought on by her long, unpublicized struggle with anorexia. Her death raised it to the level of widespread public awareness.
