Of a Past September Night:
As a child:
I once had a Eskimo Spitz
that barked incessibly
with a definite lisp!
Pee Wee was originally
white as snow
and hardly ever
allowed to run and go!
Pee Wee was mostly
shut in a barn
or chained to her doghouse
away from life and harm.
She died one frightful
September night
in a horrendous storm
of thunder and light!
She died terrified
at the end of her chain
from a heart attack
caused by fright!
I often think
of that dreadful night
but no longer in sadness
but a better light.
You see ……
I know now
that Pee Wee
was finally set free.
To run …… bark with a definite lisp
In Doggie Heaven
Totally Fancy Free!

WOW Dad this touched my heart so much & made me sad but at least we know that little Pee Wee is running free in doggie heaven now, she is loved and is having fun with all his doggie angel friends! Dogs are precious gifts to us from God to show us unconditional love! 🙂

Mustn’t forget budgies and horses. I had a blue budgie for 9 years – Jake was sadly missed. My daughter had a horse MR BUCK ..he was the love of her life.
