Hopefully,
When I die
An Angel
Will greet me
At Heaven’s Gate!
Either that
Or my personal demon
Will gleefully
Clang, clang a bell
To open
The Gates of Hell!!!
Only faith, time and worldly death will tell!
Only ‘The Mysterious Blogger’ on a Short Leash Knows for Sure!
Hopefully,
When I die
An Angel
Will greet me
At Heaven’s Gate!
Either that
Or my personal demon
Will gleefully
Clang, clang a bell
To open
The Gates of Hell!!!
Only faith, time and worldly death will tell!
Yes! Time will tell!

I clang the bell
for my personal angel.
He’s always complaining
that I’ve put him through hell 😇

Yes! The tall tell-tail bell between Heaven and Hell!

Hmm. And then there’s Purgatory.🤔

Maybe I’m already in Purgatory! Yes, in Southern Florida surrounded by arrogant and rude retirees from New York and the Northeast! Could Hell by anything worse?

Well, I grew up in MA and recently moved to Alabama so…😁

Free at last? Thank God you’re free at last? Just kidding.
It’s not the MA people “over thah in the willy-wacks that can’t get thah from hee-ah!” It’s the one’s that think they’re superior to anyone from there to here!

No offense taken. Having lived there most of my life, I’m not overly fond of the place. And while I’m not a religious conservative by any means, I haven’t had one person here in AL try to “convert” me. 😊

I’m Alabama bound
I’m Alabama bound
And if the train don’t turn around
I’m Alabama bound
Oh, don’t you leave me here
Oh, don’t you leave me here
But if you must go anyhow
Just leave a dime for beer
Alabama Bound

We are living in
This world of care
With many burdens
We have to bear
But there’s a prayer bell
On the Lord’s right hand
So give it a ring and
He will understand!

Or you could just keep living until you die and don’t worry ’bout it! 😛 I can’t help it, it’s the naughty atheist in me 😛 xx The next episode in the boy’s journey is up if you fancy a read.

Noted!
But in many ways, atheism is sort of a religion! For many they even have their own holy trinity:
In the name
of the Power
The self
And
The holy dollar!
But not you
For sure!
You have a heart and soul
Like nobody else
Also
For sure!

T’is a sad world we live in where money is more meaningful than health, or wellbeing. I have faith, but it is in me not sent outward to some unseen, unknown entity. I need to believe I can look after my boy and myself 🙂 And I do! 😀 x Thank you for the kind words that speak of my character 🙂 appreciated.

A transformation will take place!

You got it right!
Our life force is energy, frequencies and vibrations which according to the First Law of Thermodynamics cannot be created or destroyed only be transferred or transformed.
So when we die, where forth goes our life force!? Is our life forth maybe what is referred to as the Soul?

🎯Right on target! We are the energy that was always here and will always be here, supreme spirit if you will. Everything is just a different expression of the same multidimensional energy. Our ancestors knew this.😎🤙

I love how well the two poems work together while being in contrast. Is it bad that I found the second one to be slightly humorous?

Not bad at all…everything I write is ever so slightly humorous!
