Please, Don’t Cry Over Spilt Milk!

Don’t spend your time mopping and worrying about things you’ve done in the past that cannot be changed.

This is a classic English proverb that warns people not to worry or be upset about things that have already happened or things that cannot be undone.

If someone says to you, don’t cry over spilt milk, you are likely to be moping about, racking your brain for ways you could have changed the outcome of your past actions!

You can’t change the past. So get off your sorry ass and keep on truckin’ down the road of life!

In my case “don’t cry over a dropped ice cream on the floor” because that happened once and I was really looking forward to savouring it 😅

    1. Does the five second rule apply? I’m always dropping and spilling something.

Yes! Get your fender telecaster and sing:

      On the road again
I just can’t wait to get on the road again
The life I love is makin’ music with my friends
And I can’t wait to get on the road again…

But first clean up the spilled milk!
