Go Ahead and Talk to Yourself! Huh!?

What do you really think of people who go around talking aloud to themselves!?

Do you think their crazy? Do you, Huh!?

Well! New research has shown that people who talk to themselves are actually more intelligent in general!

*********

And the people who make fun of the people who talk to themselves?

Well!!

Maybe it’s because they have little or nothing to say!

Even to themselves!

************

And why are all those naked people standing in front of the poor man in the padded cell!?

Shock therapy!!!

************

But Rethinking Scripture says:

I heard once it is okay to talk to yourself. The key though is: just don’t say “Huh”!

************

Yes!

It was something that would make me inexplicably livid, and that something was: Huh? Hearing or reading the word “huh” would throw me into a state of physical panic. I didn’t want to overreact by immediately striking out in response, but the word provoked a deep visceral revulsion in me. And then my inner struggle would end as it was bound to end, with me snapping out not to use that word. But “huh” only meant “what”, and I would then rage that you should just say “what”, you see!

Do you understand? Huh!?

  1. I sometimes talk to my self to hear what I’m actually saying and you know it really does help. And it’s most definitely not a bad thing. It’s ok to give your self the talk or talk out loud. Anyways love this a ton!💕

    1. Thank you…

According to psychologist Linda Sapadin, talking out loud to yourself helps you validate important and difficult decisions. “It helps you clarify your thoughts, tend to what’s important and firm up any decisions you’re contemplating.”. Everyone knows the best way to solve a problem is to talk it out. Dec 17 2018

Hearing or reading the word huh would throw me into a state of almost physical torment; I didn’t want to overreact by striking out in response, but the word provoked a visceral revulsion in me.
