When morning, noon and night my wife is harshly saying, “You said Pam!!! Who is Pam, anyway!?”
There is no Pam!
Or asking for the time, “What time is it?”
No! It’s 8! And is it morning or night?
You see, Cute Judy Lee is always an hour behind. She’s “a rocking” on Chicago central standard time.
No! She then wants to know, “Why are you talking to yourself? Is it Pam in the morning, noon and night?
So … am I crazy or what!?
We are all having an ongoing dialogue with ourselves in our mind. And occasionally we talk aloud, like,
“Where’s the damn remote!?”
But I just do it a lot more frequently. Like when I’m composing this post!
Research has shown that it is more a sign of intelligence, not “follow the signs” to a mental hospital.
Also test have shown that if two groups are taught the same task:
… one group told to perform the task only thinking about how to do it…
… the other to talk their way through the task…
Well! The talkers do a much better job by far!
As my grandson, Deangelo, once asked, “How do you seem to know so much!?”
Well Dee …
It’s mostly bullshit!!!
